Treasure Life Votive Candle Holder/Card

Isn't this neat? I just love it! It is a votive candle holder/card. You use a battery operated votive candle inside. This actually creates a warm ambiance...like a luminary.
I found the directions from CTMH Consultants, Antonette Herrin and Jane O'Leary.

Paper: CTMH Juniper CS (new color), vellum
Stamp Set: CTMH September SOTM Treasure Life
Ink: CTMH Juniper (new color)

Magic Moments Layout

I have had the Magic Moments Kit for many months now and have finally used some of the pages. These were SO easy to create and I love how they turned out and it was so fast to complete...who wouldn't love that? I still have to add journaling and a title, but I love how the pictures look on the layout. All I did was basically add photos and stickease.

Finally took time to make layout

I am sure that I am not the only one, but I really am soooooo behind in scrapbooking...so I found some time today to throw this layout together. These photos are from over 3 years ago.

Paper: CTMH CS in White Daisy, Black, Creme Brulee (new color) & Cranberry.
Stamp Sets: CTMH Spot on Backgrounds, non-CTMH wagon
Ink: CTMH Black, Cranberry

*since I originally posted this, I have scrapped 15 (2 page) layouts! I guess this layout motivated me to get some more done ;)

Sept. SOTM - Treasure Life - Bookmark Card

"Treasure Life" Bookmark Card:

Up close of bookmark:

This is a bookmark card using (CTMH) September's SOTM, Treasure Life. I love this stamp set. The words are wonderful! This is a neat card. It has a book mark attached to the right hand side...the receiver of the card can tear it off at the perforation. I think I may have this be my make-n-take project for my September workshop.

Paper: CTMH White Daisy & Sunflower CS
Ink: CTMH Sunflower, Autumn Terracotta, Chocolate & Garden Green

I found this card idea from another CTMH consultant, Cindy Prado.

Measurements:
Base CS (White Daisy) 5" x 12", score @ 5 1/4", perforate @ 10 1/2"
(I do not have a perforating blade with my Fiskar's cutter and I did not want to have to buy a different paper cutter, so I bought the rotary perforating blade by Cutterpede (EK Success) for $3.99- it has a safety protector onit and thought I would try it and see what would happen. I was so happy that it worked! I just lifted my ruler guide on my Fiskar's paper cutter and lined the blade up in the indentation of my paper cutter and rolled it on the paper. I hope that makes some sense.)
Bottom layer CS (Sunflower) 4 3/4" x 5" and 4 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Top layer CS (White Daisy - sponged and stamped) 4 3/4" x 4 1/2" and 4 1/2" x 1 1/8"

Technique: Book Mark Card

CTMH paper pack used: Let's Get Together (I used the red patterned paper from this pack on the back (but I forgot to take a picture of the back)
Ink used: CTMH Cranberry
Stamp: CTMH Made by me (small flower stamp)

This picture is of the cards I decided to make for a swap on SCS after I created the one in the pictures below.

Below is a swing card that I came up with for the monthly "Create-a-card
club" that I am in.
(Create-a-Card club is a monthly meeting that a group of my crafty friends/moms
and I do. We all create cards and then get together once a month and bring enough
pre-cut supplies for everyone in attendance to make 2 of each of our cards...
it is nice because we go home with many nice cards.)

As mentioned in my last post, you can find a swing card tutorial
